We offer a Bit Bank, (or Bit Trial Service), so you can be reassured that the bit you choose is right for you and your horse.
We regret that this is currently only available to customers within the UK.
HOW THE BIT BANK SERVICE WORKS:
All bits sent out to UK addresses automatically come under the Bit Bank service, you do not have to specify at the beginning that you may want to return or exchange your bit. You just go through the normal purchase process and if you return the bit within the 30 Day Bit Bank period, the cost of the bit, less the Trial Charge, will be refunded to you.
The Trial Charge for each bit returned or exchanged through the Bit Bank System is £16.
You can have as many bits as you like through the Bit Bank. Before you return a bit to us, you must contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for a returns number and return instructions. You must return the bit at your cost and we must receive it within 30 days of it being delivered to you, so we recommend using a tracked delivery system. The returned bit must be reasonably clean and in good condition. Fair wear and tear is acceptable (ie small surface scratches), but broken or damaged bits will not be refunded.
Our Bit Bank system means that you may receive a bit that has previously been used, we cannot guarantee to send you a new bit. Please note that all bits returned under the Bit Bank system are thoroughly examined and disinfected before they can be sent out again. The only indication that they are not brand new will be that they do not come with labels and they may have some minor surface scratches.
If you receive a used bit and want to have a brand new one after you are satisfied that it is the right one for you and your horse, please contact us within the 30 Day Bit Bank period by emailing email@example.com for a returns number and return instructions. Once we have received the used bit we will send out a brand new version at our cost.
Customers outside the UK will always receive a new bit.
